Subject Matter Expert: Bridgett Ross, PsyD
Bridgett Ross, Psy.D. received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Boston College and then her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. She is a licensed psychologist in California and was in private practice for 13 years treating various issues including trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, grief/loss, and issues around self-concept, identity, and attachment. Having supervised pre-licensed and licensed clinicians, she maintains an interest in professional issues in the field of psychology. Dr. Ross’ training and work history include Children’s Hospital Chadwick Center for Children and Families, Kaiser Permanente, Alvarado Parkway Institute, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, which informed her focus on providing evidence-based trauma treatment to diverse populations.

Deborah (Debby) Fisher, is a licensed psychologist in Maryland who practiced in a variety of healthcare delivery systems. She is also an independent consultant providing strategic planning, change management, and executive coaching to nonprofit human services organizations, as well as program development to organizations supporting individuals with disabilities. Debby was the Director of Clinical Operations for a behavioral health managed care company and the Chief Operating Officer of a community service residential agency. She was recognized as Innovator of the Year by the Maryland Daily Record. Debby frequently speaks with diverse groups promoting best practices for serving the needs of people with long-term disabilities and with families and people with disabilities who seek to access high-quality, accountable supports.
Debby earned her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers College and her Psy.D. from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She is Co-Chair of the Healthcare Initiative Foundation, a funding organization that supports safety-net non-profits that provide medical and behavioral health services to poor and uninsured residents of Montgomery County, Maryland. She is a member of the advisory boards and boards of directors of several organizations that promote the needs of individuals with disabilities. Debby is a member of the National Register of Healthcare Psychologists and is a Fellow of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. She is a past co-chair of its Psychology Interest Network and currently President of the Religion and Spirituality Interest Network.
